Board members absent: Neal <br />Griggsmiller, Theresa Rounds. Staff member present: Dean Johnson. City Council <br />member present: Susan Loo. Guest: Debby Fahey. <br /> <br /> <br />III.The agenda was approved by all members. <br /> <br /> <br />IV.The minutes from the August 1, 2013 meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />V. Public Comment on Items not on the AgendaRegarding Helburg Memorial proposal <br />(presented at August HFAB meeting), Mike asked for clarification regarding plan and <br />costs. Also, comments were made regarding removal of dead and dying trees, on both <br />City and private property; condition of new sod at Arboretum; and the first rental of the <br />Arboretum facility (for a wedding). <br /> <br /> <br />VI.OSAB trails projectThe Open Space office has designed a survey to help determine <br />where there is a need for trail additions and connections. The map that accompanies <br />the survey form is difficult to read because of the small scale and numerous details.
