<br />BUSINESS RETENTION AND <br /> <br />DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SUBJECT: ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT UPDATE <br /> <br />DATE: NOVEMBER 4, 2013 <br /> <br />PRESENTED BY: AARON DEJONG, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Historic Grain Elevator Louisville Mill Site, LLC has begun cleanup work on the <br />building. The cleanup is going well and further investigation for the stabilization work <br />has begun. <br /> <br />Trelleborg Sealing Solutions - It is looking promising that Trelleborg Sealing Solutions <br />will be coming to town to fill 1886 Prairie after Pearl iZumi moves into their new <br />headquarters. <br /> <br />Pearl iZumi Construction is wrapping up and the Company expects to be in the <br />building in November. <br /> <br />Highway 42 Revitalization DELO plans to submit their Final Planned Unit <br />Development to Planning in early November. <br /> <br />CableLabs The Company is investigating modifying their existing location at 858 Coal <br />Creek Circle to accommodate their future growth. An amended agreement will be going <br />to City Council for approval to allow the renovation of this building eligible for BAP <br />assistance to keep them in town. <br /> <br />Louisville Plaza CBRE reported to me that a national REIT (real estate investment <br />trust) is interested in acquiring the Louisville Plaza property that includes Hobby Lobby, <br />King Soopers, and ARC Thrift. <br /> <br />Building submittals in CTC Etkin Johnson is planning on building two speculative flex <br />buildings in CTC in the coming year. Each project is going through the PUD process. <br /> <br />Phillips 66 Property No additional interest has been received by the City for the <br />property. CBRE continues to market the property for the Company. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
