RULE 9 <br /> FINGERPRINTS/BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION. <br /> (a) Pursuant to the Bylaws of the Local Licensing Authority, fingerprint/background <br /> investigations are done through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of <br /> Investigation and shall be required for any application which requires a determination of any <br /> person's character or reputation or qualification under the Louisville Municipal Code, the <br /> Colorado Retail Marijuana Code, or the regulations promulgated thereunder. The Local <br /> Authority shall not be required to perform a criminal background check if the State has <br /> performed a check or may, in its sole, discretion perform its own background check. Proper <br /> identification, along with proper fees must be presented at the time of fingerprinting/background <br /> check for each new applicant, manager, employee and other person required to be qualified. <br /> Proper identification means: <br /> 1. an identification card issued in accordance with C.R.S. § 42-2-302; <br /> 2. a valid state driver's license; <br /> 3. a valid driver's license containing a picture issued by another state <br /> 4. a military identification card; or <br /> 5. a valid passport. <br /> (b) At such time the application is complete, action on the application may proceed at the <br /> request of the applicant if the Authority finds: <br /> (1) The fully executed application and each report required as part of the application <br /> indicates that the applicant, partner, manager, officer, stockholder, director of applicant, person <br /> holding a financial interest in or lending financial support to the applicant, manager or employee <br /> is of good moral character and otherwise qualified pursuant to the Louisville Municipal Code, <br /> the Colorado Retail Marijuana Code, and the regulations promulgated thereunder. <br />
