JUN 22 '95 11 17 CU PUBLICATIONS P.2 <br /> • June 7, 1995 <br /> Louisville Arts and Humanities Council <br /> Minutes <br /> Special Meeting <br /> Louisville Center for the Arts <br /> Members present were: Eric Fridh, John Hansen, Eva Kosinski, Sharon <br /> Whiting, Barb Matson, Ann Lamb, Rachel Williams, and Mary McArthur. <br /> Also present: Sara Godsalk <br /> Call to Order <br /> • The special meeting was called to order by John Hansen. <br /> • Approval of Minutes <br /> • The minutes from the previous meeting were approved with the following <br /> corrections: Barb Matson will chair the Movie in the Park event and the two <br /> groups selected at the previous meeting for the summer concert series were <br /> Kool Kats and Upsidaisium. <br /> Old Business <br /> • • Presentation to the City Council Work Session about the staff position <br /> grant will be made by Eric (with other members present) on June 14. Sara <br /> drew up a draft of duties that this position might do for the City. For the <br /> presentation, we need to come up with a job description, a schedule of hours <br /> that the person might work, and examples of specific tasks, etc. Call direction, <br /> mail sorting and filing, some light cleaning and maintenance are possible. <br /> Scheduling building use will benefit the city, especially after renovation. Sara <br /> would check on job performance of position on behalf of the City, and one <br /> Board member might do the same on behalf of the interests of the Art Center. <br /> • John said that his pottery staff person, Alison Lowe, helped with the SCFD <br /> grant application. For the time she worked, the Board agreed to pay her $40. <br /> • The council discussed the letter received from the Louisville Arts <br /> Association about proposed staff person and letter from city Human <br /> Resources for another work session to discuss the staff person. <br /> Correspondence and Announcements`' <br /> • Presentation on SCFD grants at the Broomfield Community Center, June <br /> 28, 6:20 p.m. <br /> Adjournment <br /> • The meeting was adjourned. <br /> • <br />
