• <br /> • Louisville Arts and Humanities Council <br /> Minutes <br /> October 19, 1995 <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> Louisville Center for the Arts <br /> The meeting was called to order by John Hanson, president. Members <br /> present were John Hanson, Eva l osinski, Eric Fridh. Barb Matson. Rachel <br /> Williams, and Ann Lamb. Guests present were Sara Gotis.balk and Pat <br /> Diechivan_ <br /> The minutes were read and approved. The Treasurer's report was read <br /> and accepted. <br /> Old Business <br /> Eva gave a report from the State Art Convention. She suggested we join <br /> CAMPO_ <br /> John reported on a meeting with the Boulder Country Citizens Advisory <br /> Committee. <br /> It was reported that the Folk Arts Festival was proceeding as planned. <br /> • Eva is working on the Volunteer Resource List/Brochure. Sara reported <br /> that the building renovation is in this years budget as of the present <br /> time. <br /> New Business <br /> A painting by Carol Markham of the Louisville Center for the Arts was <br /> presented to the Counil by Pat Diechman. <br /> Peter Stewart's Architectural Project received funding. We were <br /> pleased to have been his sponsor in this grant. <br /> Young Artist's Exhibit will be at the Louisville Recreation Center. <br /> December 1 through December 31 . There will be a reception on Friday, <br /> Dec. 1, from 5:00 to 8:00pm. <br /> We will discuss the development of a Membership Organization at a <br /> later meeting. <br /> Rachel will be looking into the 1996 Music Program. She is looking at a <br /> budget of 31200 to $1400 and 8 concerts for the spring and fall of 96. <br /> Sara reported that the City is working on the budget and decisions on <br /> funding should be made by November 2. <br /> John reported by there may be some board openings soon. <br /> The meeting was adjourned. <br /> • <br />
