Renewal Application – KCSP LLC d/b/a Busaba – Hotel and <br /> Restaurant Liquor License – 133 McCaslin Blvd. Unit H <br />Carlsoncalled for any changes to the consent agenda.Machado moved the <br />consent agenda be approved. Hughes seconded. Roll Call Vote: Carlson – <br />yes, Machado – yes, Rommelfanger – yes, Lipton – yes and Hughes – yes. <br />Consent agenda approved. <br /> <br />I.Authority Business <br /> A. Public Hearing – Altermeds LLC d/b/a Altermeds – Retail/Medical <br /> Marijuana Combined Use Application – 1156 W. Dillon Road #3 <br />Carlson opened the public hearing on the retail/medical combined use license <br />application. SecretaryHanson stated the application was complete and included <br />in the Authority packet. Background checks were conducted during the recent <br />transfer of medical marijuana licenseand the hearing had been posted and <br />published in accordance with state law. She noted notification of approval from <br />the state had been received. <br />Chairperson Carlson called for any member disclosures, hearing none,moved <br />the entire application be made a part of the record of this hearing. Lipton <br />seconded. All in favor. <br />Carlson called for an applicant presentation. <br />Brian Ruden,1155 Orchard Street,Golden, CO, 80401 owner of Altermeds, <br />introduced himself to the Authority and took the oath. He stated he owns other <br />marijuana businesses and is very aware of the rules and procedures for <br />operating.He has been in touch with the owner of the other marijuana business <br />and felt they will have a good working relationship. He hoped the sales tax <br />revenue generated would be of benefit to the City. <br />Rommelfanger asked for clarification of how therecent transfer from Laurel <br />Alterman was completed. Mr. Ruden reported the transaction was completed by <br />him buying 100% of Altermeds LLC instead of creating his own entity. <br />Machado asked if only persons over 21 years of age would be allowed to <br />purchase.Mr. Ruden reported that was correct.
