City Council Finance Committee Meeting Minutes 08/18/14 Page 3 of 4 The Finance Director presented the revenue trend dashboards with projections for all funds and for the General Fund. Director Watson informed the Finance Committee that the projection "dashboards" contain revised forecasts for Building Use Tax, Construction Permits, Impact Fees and Utility Tap Fees recently provided by the Planning & Building Department, and also updated Recreation Center fee projections received from the Parks and Recreation Department. Lastly, Consumer Use Tax projections were increased to reflect the current trend. The reports and the corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the August 18, 2014 Finance Committee Meeting. CASH & INVESTMENTS REPORT AS OF JULY 31, 2014 The Finance Director presented the monthly investment reports for the period ended July 31, 2014. Director Watson stated that he would be meeting with Scott Prickett, the City's investment advisor, to discuss upcoming and future cash flow requirements based on the present status of City -wide projects, and determine the best method for investment. LIST OF BILLS Finance Committee Members had no questions on the list of bills. A list of the bills scheduled for Council approval on August 19, 2014 can be located in the packet of the August 18, 2014 Finance Committee Meeting.
