Washington Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, spoke on the snow removal
ordinance. He was cited three times this year, for the first time in the nine years he had lived in
Louisville. He felt the Code Enforcement Officers had gotten over zealous in the enforcement of this
law. He wanted City Council to revise its instructions to the City Administrator and the Police
Department on how they are going to enforce this ordinance. The Police Chief had told him that over
the last two winters a change in policy had occurred where the City Council had instructed the City
Administrator and the Police Department to more tightly enforce this particular ordinance. He
wanted the previous more lenient policy reinstated.

COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS
NOT ON THE AGENDA

Mayer stated that he had requested the City Administrator to provide Council with a summary of
property tax levies for Boulder County. He commented that, with the exception of Old Town
Superior and Ward, that Louisville, including the Fire District, had the lowest property taxes in
Boulder County.

REGULAR BUSINESS

INTRODUCTION OF NEW EMPLOYEES - 4TH QUARTER 1994 AND 1ST QUARTER
1995

Bruce Goodman, Chief of Police, introduced:

Christine Pavlicek, Records Technician
Mike Miller, Police Officer
Julian Clark, Police Officer
Thomas Bock, Police Lieutenant

2
