RESOLUTION # 23 SERIES 1972 <br />CI"fY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br />Whereas on April 20, '1971 a Public Hearing was held by the City Council <br />of Louisville, Colorado on the need to establish an Urban Renewal Authority <br />for the City of Louisville:, at which time the public was given the opportunity <br />to speak for or against the creation of an authority, and <br />Whereas no persons spoke against the creation of said Urban Renewal Authority, <br />and <br />Whereas at a regular meeting of the City Council of Louisville, Colorado <br />held on May 18, 1971, the City Council declared it to be in the public interest <br />that an Urban Renewal Authority for the City of Louisville, created by Chapter <br />39, Article 62, Colorado RE~vised Statutes, 1963, as amended, known as the Urban <br />Renewal Law, shall exercisE~ the powers provided in the Urban Renewal law to <br />be exercised by such authority, and <br />Whereas, on June 15, 1!971, the Mayor of the City of Louisville with <br />approval of the City Counciil appointed the following named persons to be <br />Commissioners of the Louiisville Urban Renewal Authority and at a regular <br />Council meeting held duly 2.6 the Mayor with approval of Council ratified the <br />length of terms of each person as set forth below: <br />Cliff Brock 5 years <br />Dennis Lundberg 5 years <br />Andrew Ackerman 4 years <br />Virgil Donovan 4 years <br />Jerry Scholl 3 years <br />Donald Delforge 3 years <br />George Stead 2 years <br />Louis Pol 2 years <br />Dave Scherer 1 year <br />
