REGULAR BUSINESS <br />INTRODUCTION - NEW EMPLOYEES - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND LIBRARY <br />John Franklin introduced Kirk <br />Schweitzer the new Building <br />Official for the building <br />department. <br />Nelda Mohr introduced Elizabeth <br />Payne the new Library Clerk. <br />Mohr also introduced Cari Avila <br />Smithrud also a new Library Clerk . <br />APPOINTMENT - INTERIM WATER ATTORNEY <br />Williams presented to Council a <br />list of names of Water Attonrey's <br />that had contacted him or he had <br />contacted that would interest in <br />serving as an interim for the City <br />of Louisville and gave a brief <br />history of the company that they <br />were with. The fees ranged from <br />$175.00 to $90.00 a hour. <br />Williams suggested that there be at <br />least 2 choices given in case one <br />of the attorney's could not do the <br />work. <br />Carnival moved and Szymanski sec- <br />onded to appoint Joseph A. Cope of <br />Musick and Cope as the interim <br />water attorney and Timothy R. <br />Buchanan, P.C. as second choice. <br />By Roll Call Vote motion passed 6- <br />0. <br />Council also asked Williams to see <br />if Mr. Cope would be willing to <br />lower his hourly rate so that he <br />may be considered for the permanent <br />position of water attorney. <br />APPOINTMENT - CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON OPEN GOVERNMENT AND <br />ETHICS <br />Asti-Caranci stated that there were <br />fifteen people interested in being <br />
