PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />None <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />PROCLAMATION - NATIONAL FLAG DAY - JUNE 14TH <br />Mayor Fauson proclaimed June 14th <br />National Flag Day. There will be a <br />brief ceremony in front of city <br />hall starting at 4:00 p.m. on June <br />14th. <br />EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION AWARDS <br />Mayor Fauson stated that two <br />employees were nominated by their <br />peers to receive the first quarter <br />employee recognition award -- <br />Jackie Ross, Executive Secretary <br />for Public Works, and Sharon Asti- <br />Caranci, Director of <br />Finance/General Services. They <br />were nominated far their <br />willingness to assist other <br />employees and their dedication to <br />provide excellent service. Each <br />received a certificate of <br />recognition and a $100 check. <br />Mayor Fauson also stated that <br />Jackie Ross is retiring from the <br />city and was presented with a gold <br />watch on behalf of the city. <br />Mayor Fauson also presented Sharon <br />Asti-Caranci with a pledge of <br />appreciation for her outstanding <br />service while Acting City Adminis- <br />trator. <br />PRESENTATION OF 1989 FINANCIAL STATEMENT - ACCEPTANCE WITH BONDI <br />& CO. <br />Asti-Caranci stated that on Tuesday <br />May 29th members of the Finance <br />Committee met with the city's <br />auditing firm regarding the 1989 <br />Audit Report.
