PROCLAMATION - HISTORICAL <br />MONTH Mayor Fauson proclaimed March as Louisville <br />Historical Month and Virginia Caranci, Chairman of <br />the Louisville Historical Commission reviewed the <br />accomplishments and efforts of the Commission over <br />the past year. <br />ORDINANCE #965, SERIES 1988 - CHAPMAN RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION - 2ND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING Read by title only, Ordinance #965, Series 1988, <br />"An Ordinance Vacating a portion of an alley <br />located in Jefferson Place." Proof of publication <br />and notice of public hearing were established. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. <br />Franklin explained that this action was withdrawn <br />in October 1988 pending completion of required <br />agreements. All required documents are now in <br />place. The Chapmans have requested that the City <br />vacate a 10' wide alley located north of their <br />property. The Chapmans have submitted a deed for <br />an easement over the alley and an additional 5' on <br />the property. The adjacent property owner has <br />agreed to the vacation. This request was reviewed <br />by the Planning Commission and recommended for <br />approval. <br />Mayor Fauson asked for any public comments in <br />favor of or in opposition to this Ordinance. <br />None. <br />Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called <br />for a motion. <br />Mohr moved and Anderson seconded to adopt <br />Ordinance #965, Series 1988. By Roll Call Vote <br />Ordinance #965, Series 1988 was adopted 5-0. <br />ORDINANCE #984, SERIES 1989 - AMENDMENT TO PUBLIC SERVICE CO. FRANCHISE <br />AGREEMENT - 2nd READING, <br />PUBLIC HEARING Read by title only Ordinance #984, Series 1989, <br />"An Ordinance amending Ordinance #544 concerning <br />the Franchise granted to Public Service Company of <br />Colorado." Proof of publication and notice of <br />public hearing were established. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. <br />Stahl explained that this ordinance is necessary <br />to amend the Public Service Company Franchise <br />which will provide modifications to the current <br />Agreement. However, Stahl is requesting that the <br />public hearing be continued to April 4, 1989 as <br />it will enable staff to continue to look at <br />other aspects of the Agreement that Public Service <br />2 <br />
