REGULAR BUSINESS: <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW <br />~MPLOYEE Franklin introduced Ernie Campbell the new <br />Building Technician in Community Development. <br />ORDINANCE #982, SERIES 1989 - DRONICK RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION - 2ND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING Read by title only, Ordinance #982, Series 1989, <br />"An Ordinance vacating a portion of an alley <br />located in Kimberly Subdivision." Proof of <br />publication and notice of public hearing were <br />established. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. <br />Franklin explained that tonight is the scheduled <br />public hearing on the right-of-way vacation <br />requested by Robert C. Dronick to vacate a 10' <br />wide alley right-of-way located north of their <br />property in Block 1, Kimberly Subdivision. <br />However, certain documents are not ready and staff <br />is requesting that the public hearing be continued <br />to April 4, 1989. <br />Mayor Fauson asked if there were any public <br />comments either in favor of or in opposition to <br />Ordinance #982. None. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Mohr seconded to continue <br />the public hearing for Ordinance #982, Series 1989 <br />to the April 4th Council Meeting. By Roll Call <br />vote the motion passed 7-0. <br />ORDINANCE #983, SERIES 1989 - SCRIPPS HOWARD CABLE CO. - 2ND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING Read by title only, Ordinance #983, Series 1989, <br />"An Ordinance approving the transfer of the permit <br />issued pursuant to the Louisville Cable Television <br />Certificate Agreement from Scripps-Howard Cable <br />Services Company to Scripps Howard Cable Co." <br />Proof of publication and notice of public hearing <br />were established. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. <br />Stahl explained that this Ordinance approves the <br />transfer of the permit issued pursuant to the <br />Louisville Cable Television Certificate Agreement <br />from Scripps-Howard Cable Services Company to <br />Scripps Howard Cable Co. This transfer will be <br />only "on paper" and the reorganization will not <br />cause any change in personnel, board of directors, <br />officers, programming, subscriber billing, etc. <br />2 <br />
