CITY OF LOUISVILLE MAY 19, 1989 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Special Session pursuant to Louisville Code 2.12.010 (see attached Notice of Special Meeting) in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson called the meeting to order at 4:54 p.m. and the following persons were present: Councilmembers: Mike Mohr, John Sackett, Steve Anderson and Alan Scarpella Staff present: Absent: APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA APPROVAL OF THE ~ONSENT CALENDAR David Stahl, City Administrator Linda Salas, Clerk Steve Williamson, City Attorney Pam Ferris, City Clerk Councilman Carnival Councilman Ferrera Mayor Fauson asked for approval of the Agenda. Sackett moved and Mohr seconded to approve the Agenda as presented. Motion carried. There were no Consent Calendar Items. REGULAR BUSINESS: RESOLUTION #15, SERIES 1989 SPECIAL ELECTION Read by title only, Resolution #15, Series 1989, "A Resolution submitting to the registered electors of the City of Louisville, Colorado, at a Special Municipal Election to be held on July 11, 1989, the question of approving Ordinance No. 987 concerning the annexation by the City of property known as Hillandale; and setting forth certain details of the election." The Mayor and Council reconsidered Ordinance #987, Series 1989 which had been passed on April 20, 1989 and published on April 26, 1989, but which was not yet effective and discussed possible election dates in order to submit to the registered voters of Louisville the question of approving Ordinance #987 concerning the annexation of the Hillandale property. The Council felt that it would be in the City's best interest to set an election on the annexation question as early as possible.
