<br />Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 10, 2008 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br /> <br />Planning Commission Comments - <br />Deborski discussed the continued use of the old Alpine Lumber building for auto and motor <br />cycle repair. He stated that if felt it was demonstrating a double standard: requiring two other <br />locations to complete the special review use and then not enforcing the special review use at this <br />site when it is required. <br /> <br />Lipton stated his support for the special review use. <br /> <br />McCartney stated a letter had been sent to the property owner and he would follow-up with the <br />Commission's request. <br /> <br />Deborski stated he had decided to not reapply for another term on the Planning Commission <br />because of the conflict of interests as a property owner within the HWY 42 Revitalization Area <br />and knowing that this is a prominent development area for the next several years. <br /> <br />Lipton thanked Deborski for his service and that he looks forward to his future involvement with <br />the City. <br /> <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting - None heard. <br /> <br />Adjournment - <br />Loo moved and Pritchard seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting. Lipton adjourned the <br />meeting at 6: 3 5 PM. <br />
