Local Licensing Authority <br />Minutes <br />June 22, 2015 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />Lipton moved to approve the transfer of the liquor license and tastings permit for <br />Down Under Wine and Spirits. Hughes seconded. All in favor. <br />B. Special Events Permit Application — Boulder Creek Events — <br />Community Park 7/18/15 - 2PM to 10PM <br />Mike Puretz, event manager, appeared for Boulder Creek Events. He reported <br />the event will feature local breweries and pizza establishments. He noted their <br />company is a non - profit and they support other non - profits as well. The event will <br />be fenced and monitored so the beer does not leave the event. <br />Lipton moved to approve the Special Events Permit for Boulder Creek Events for <br />July 18, 2015 from 2 pm to 10 pm. Tennessen seconded. All in favor. <br />C. Transfer Application — Apro LLC d /b /a My Goods Market #6526 — <br />Retail 3.2% Beer Off - Premises License — 520 S. McCaslin Blvd. <br />Chairperson Machado noted this was the transfer of what is now the <br />Conoco /Circle K. Authority members noted this is part of a larger purchase. <br />Hughes moved to approve the transfer of the 3.2% Beer off Premises license <br />to Apro LLC d /b /a My Goods Market #6526. Lipton seconded. All in favor <br />Police Department Reports <br />Corporal Redard noted the police department is becoming more involved in the <br />enforcement of the liquor licensed establishments on a local level. He and <br />Corporal Gordanier will take the lead. He noted the June seller /server training <br />was well attended by Louisville establishments. <br />Secretary's Report <br />Hanson thanked the Police Department for holding the seller /server trainings. <br />She reported she administratively issued a Special Event Permit for a bike event <br />ending in the Colorado Technological Center on June 6. The event was held <br />with no report of incidents. <br />Authority Attorney's Report <br />Authority Attorney Culley noted there was new legislation giving the local <br />authorities notice of tasting rooms, where there is currently no local input. She <br />stated she will have more information for the Authority at their next meeting. <br />Authority Comment and Discussion Items for next meeting <br />Authority member Lipton asked if members would consider electronic packets to <br />save the printing of so many pages of an application when a transfer or new <br />application is considered. Secretary Hanson was asked to poll members and to <br />determine if they wanted to continue to receive paper packets. Authority member <br />
