It was noted that the revenue per golfer under the <br />Mine ownership was above industry average — 55% of the revenue coming from <br />liquor sales. No decision has yet been made on whether to re -bid the restaurant <br />as a concession or continue under direct City Management. Timing is a factor in <br />this decision as we are moving towards winter months with lower or no golfer <br />traffic. The strategy is to offer more than a basic "hot dog service" but in any <br />case only offer items which will be of high quality. It was accepted that the <br />current kitchen is incapable of supporting other than snack bar fare and any <br />ability to offer special events would require a partner with a suitable offsite <br />catering facility. Cory raised the issue that the Monarch Boys team who had <br />considered holding their end of year dinner at the Mine. David had no knowledge <br />of that and will look into it. <br />7. Next meeting <br />The October 19th Meeting will be held 6:30pm in the Library Meeting Room. <br />Potential agenda items are: <br />• Review measurement data <br />• Review draft marketing plan <br />• Update on course condition and issues <br />• Review golfer feedback <br />• Update on restaurant status <br />8.
