pipeline at 3 c.f.s., which is equal to 2,200 acre ft., does not
necessarily need to be a super precise number, because you're only
dealing with approximately half of Louisville's future demand. He
stated that when looking at Louisville's current demand, which is
near 4,000 acre ft., and the projected demand with associated
losses, Louisville is coming real close to what Louisville's Raw
Water Master Plan said Louisville needed, which was 9,000 acre ft.
He stated that the major areas where the demands are coming from
are annexed and to some extent subdivided, such as the Colorado
Technical Center, Planning area 79 and 80, accounts for 2,000 acre
ft.., but the extent of the demand is clearly, of the order of
magnitude of the pipeline itself, without addressing any of the
potential in fill. He explained that when you look at Homart's
are, which is identified as area 67, doesn't include the
residential, which is built out our already approved. Basically,
everything west of McCaslin and on Parcel O, which is their
co~.~mercial parcel, their numbers come up to a little over 500 acre
ft..

Mayer:

The total acres for Homart and CTC,
is that total acreage of the
property or just the percent that
hasn't been developed yet?

Phare:

That is the total acreage within
that planning area. This is not
necessarily the last pipeline that
this community will be dealing with.
It's not the only water right that
we will be acquiring in the future.
Louisville will need to acquire
water above and beyond our current
portfolio and our participation with
the pipeline from the Northern
District maxed out, if we are to
serve everything that's identified.

Sisk:

On the water usage, one of the areas
we need to consider is the
conservation of the water. I hope
that, coupled with the acquisition
of water rights, we can also have an
aggressive plan for water
conservation, in terms of toilets,
sprinkler usage, etc.

Phare continued to review the additional information in the Council
packet (SEE ATTACHED), including the Capital Improvement Water
Fund.

Mayer:

The inclusion into the CBT District,
which is slated for '95, it's my
