COUNCIL COMMUNICATION <br />T0: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: ANNE MOJO, LIBRARY DIRECTOR <br />DATE: APRIL 8, 2008 <br />SUBJECT: PRESENTATION/DISCUSSION -LIBRARY'S STRATEGIC PLAN 2008 <br />ORIGINATING DEPARTMENT: LIBRARY <br />SUMMARY: <br />The Louisville Public Library Board of Trustees and Library Staff developed and produced the Library's <br />new long range plan, "Strategic Plan 2008." The planning process began in the spring of 2007 and <br />was completed with minor revisions and formal adoption at the Library Board of Trustees meeting on <br />March 20, 2008. Much like each of the Library's previous long range plans, this one will direct and aid <br />the Library trustees and staff in pursuing goals and objectives for the next five years.
