CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />MARCH 12, 2003 <br /> <br />SPECIAL COUNCIL <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Special session at City Hall, 749 Main <br />Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Davidson called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m., and <br />the following persons were present - <br /> <br />City Council: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Davidson, Mayor Pro-Tern Charles Sisk, <br />Council Members: Arnold Levihn, Don Brown, Sheri <br />Marsella, Michele Van Pelt and John Keany <br /> <br />StaffPresent: <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Manager <br />Julie Boyd, Deputy City Manager <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director <br />Charlene Laus, Finance Director <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director <br />Heather Balser, Asst. City Manager for Gov. Relations <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Sam Light, City Attorney <br />Nancy Varra, City Clerk <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />All rose for the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson called for changes to the agenda. Brown moved the agenda be approved, <br />seconded by Keany. All in favor. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Doug Grinbergs, 530 W. Sycamore Circle, Louisville, CO, addressed Geographical <br />Information Systems (GSA) and explained he attended a conference where various <br />federal, state, county and municipal representatives stressed the importance of sharing <br />data amongst various entities. He also addressed aviation noise and summarized the <br />discussions at the joint meeting of the Louisville City Council and the Superior Board of <br />Trustees. He explained the discussions included collaboration between the Cities of <br />Louisville, Westminster, Arvada, the Town of Superior and Boulder County. <br /> <br /> <br />
