Schedule and coordinate the fly -in to Washington, DC for MCC members in February/March <br />2016; facilitate additional opportunities for MCC members and staff to meet with key leaders <br />a. Schedule meetings with Colorado Congressional Delegation <br />b. Schedule meetings with relevant authorizing and appropriations committee staff that <br />will have an impact on US 36 funding <br />c. Schedule meetings with FHWA, FTA, FRA and TIFIA as needed <br />d. Coordination with MCC State lobbyist <br />2. Policy Changes <br />a. Definitional Change to BRT to permit broader eligibility under New and Small Starts <br />b. Train Horn Rule <br />3. Funding Priorities <br />a. Arterial BRT <br />b. Funding for Crossings - Quiet Zones <br />c. NI-25 Bidirectional infrastructure improvements connecting to DUS <br />i. Track FTA and FHWA grant process to advocate and secure funding for BRT <br />d. US 36 improvements <br />i. Continue to support and identify potential funding sources to secure federal <br />funding through Congress and the Department of Transportation; TIFIA, TIGER <br />Grant, Surface Transportation Improvements <br />e. Buses <br />i.
