We can update our own by-laws and get them approved by City Council <br />Action item: Kathy to double-check whether changes have to be sent to the State. <br />Publicity: Maryan Jaross and Julie Kovash <br />LMaryan met with Molly Foster, the new reporter for the Colorado hometown papers <br />who will be covering our events. Reached out to Matt Sebastian at The Daily Camera <br />with no response. <br />2. Submitted article about YAB. <br />3. Email list is now at 610 per Julie Kovash; snail mail list is over 800 per Kathy Martin <br />4. Julie did a film survey of our email list with the following results: <br />1. Classics <br />2. Comedy <br />3. Foreign <br />Price points: $3 children; $5 adults. <br />Films should be appropriate for all ages so that it can be a family event <br />5. Anyone can do a survey -just give it to Julie <br />Events: <br />1. Astronomy Night was very well attended in spite of the weather, 90 people <br />2. Coffeehouse Concert: Crab Shack & Love, Peace, Jigs & Reels had 93 people <br />3. Salsa & Swing Dance Event had 65 participants <br />Upcoming Events: <br />Andy led a lively discussion about Concerts in the Park. The banner and any shade <br />provisions will not come out of the $3600 Concerts in the Park budget. <br />Action items: <br />1. Kathy will check whether patio tables could be moved for June 12th concert and if <br />there are enough electrical outlets there. <br />2. Andy will check cost of renting a tent to protect the performers and work on <br />logistics <br />3. Kathy will check City Code to see if we can string banner across McCaslin at <br />Dillon <br />4. City will pay for banner <br />Schedule: <br />June 12th: a New Orleans j azz pianist to be named after May 10th per contract provisions <br />June 19th: Love Handles -country rock/folk <br />June 26th: Sugar Daddy <br />Rain Date: July 10th <br />
