consistent with the briefing provided to Council at <br />their last meeting. The easement represents <br />approximately 2 1/2 acres and is being acquired at <br />$.075/per s.f. ($8,3:?0). The Homart easement is in <br />the amount of $l0.OCl. <br />Phare explained that: although Council was just <br />presented with the documents, he feels that both <br />contracts are straight forward and would recommend <br />approval. However, should Council choose to wait <br />until their next meE~ting to allow time to review the <br />contracts, that wou]_d not present a major problem <br />with the project. <br />The Homart easement was essentially provided for <br />under a standard agreement with all developers <br />wherein they are required to provide utility service <br />easements to the City and to their particular <br />development. <br />Council agreed that they had been informed by Phare <br />of these upcoming agreements and there are no <br />departures from that: information provided earlier <br />and therefore would feel comfortable with approving <br />these two easement agreements this evening. <br />Szymanski moved that. the easement agreements with <br />Public Service Company and Homart Development <br />Corporation be approved. Anderson seconded. <br />Unanimous. <br />FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />MEETING Hundley requested a Finance Committee Meeting for <br />Tuesday morning, November 10th at 7:30 a.m. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS None. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS Mayor Fauson congratulated Councilmembers on the <br />well conducted campaign during the election and <br />welcomed everyone back to their seat on Council. <br />Szymanski thanked th.e voters who came out to the <br />polls and cast their ballots. <br />ADJOURNMENT With no further business, Mayor Fauson adjourned the <br />meeting at 8:15 p.m. Mohr seconded.
