City„ <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION <br />AGENDA ITEM 11 <br />SUBJECT: <br />DISCUSSION /DIRECTION — RECREATION /SENIOR CENTER <br />AND AQUATICS TAX SURVEY RESULTS AND CITIZEN <br />SURVEY RESULTS ON MUSEUM AND PRIORITIES <br />DATE: JUNE 7, 2016 <br />PRESENTED BY: MEREDYTH MUTH, CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE <br />SUMMARY: <br />At the June 7 Special Meeting Laurie Urban and Morgan Adams of National Research <br />Center will present the results of the Recreation Center Tax Survey that was completed <br />in May. <br />In addition, they will provide some preliminary information on the results of questions <br />from the 2016 Citizen Survey that relate to funding priorities, the top 3 issues to invest in <br />today as well as support or opposition to extension of the Historic Preservation Tax. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />None at this time. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff is asking for direction on what ballot questions the City Council would like to <br />consider for the November ballot. Those ballot questions will be considered by the City <br />Council in July and August. <br />ATTACHMENT(S): <br />1. Tax Survey Results <br />2.
