APPROVAL OF ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH CH2M HILL FOR <br /> WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT SLUDGE DISPOSAL AND PROCESS ANALYSIS <br />APPROVAL OF PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE 1994 <br /> DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS ON CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br />AWARD BID - NORTH TRAILS SEEDING PROJECT <br />AWARD BID - RECREATION CENTER OFFICE RENOVATION PROJECT <br />APPROVE FINDING FOR ADDITIONAL IMPROVEMENTS TO LIBRARY EXPANSION <br /> PROJECT <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS - ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson called for any public comments on items not on the Agenda. <br /> <br />Terry O'Connor, 1480 Moss Rock Place, Boulder, Colorado, stated <br />that he is one of the property owners in the Colorado Tech Center. <br />He stated that there are five projects on the drawing board and two <br />clients who have purchased property in the park for a total of <br />approximately $6.1 million worth of buildings being built in CTC. <br />He was concerned about the effects of the Knollwood Development on <br />him as a property owner. He stated that the Improvement District <br />has debt and a high tax rate, but only because there hasn't been <br />enough development in CTC to carry it. It is not in trouble or <br />ready to go bankrupt. He also stated that contrary to rumors that <br />it is hard to finance new buildings in the CTC, it is not. <br /> <br />Davidson called for anyone else in the audience wishing to speak on <br />any item not on the Agenda. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS <br /> NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson congratulated Councilman Howard on his recent appointment <br />as Chief Executive Officer and President of Augmentx. <br /> <br />Howard stated that the Finance Committee is going to suggest to the <br />Council that $500.00, a rebate from the City's bonds, go to the <br />Senior program at the Recreation Center. <br /> <br />Levihn commented that there were students in the audience from all <br />three elementary schools in Louisville and that this is Teacher <br />Appreciation Week.
