Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the Louisville Postmaster <br />requested this change due to mail delivery confusion. The proposal <br />is to split Orchard Drive into two names at Pear Court and Orchard <br />Drive and name the shorter leg of Orchard Drive, Orchard Way. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve on first reading Ordinance No. <br />1150, Series 1994, street name changes, Meadows At Coal Creek, and <br />set out for publication and set the public hearing for June 7, <br />1994. Seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF CONTRACT FOR SERVICES WITH STEWART JACOBY <br />COMMUNICATIONS/OAP FOR PRODUCTION OF LOUISVILLE HISTORICAL VIDEO <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />Levihn questioned the spending of $15,000 for a video. <br /> <br />Howard stated that the video was to record the extensive history of <br />the City of Louisville for its citizens. Howard stated that an <br />internal committee composed of citizens, a representative of the <br />Senior Board, and the person who wrote the book on Louisville, <br />would be formed to oversee the project. <br /> <br />Mayer, Sisk, and Lathrop felt that this will be money well spent <br />leaving a real legacy and record to the citizens about their <br />community. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve the contract for services with <br />Stewart Jacoby Communications/OAP for production of the Louisville <br />Historical Video. Seconded by Mayer. Roll call was taken. <br />Motion passed by a 6 - 1 vote with Levihn voting against. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />Lathrop moved that Council adjourn to Executive Session for the <br />acquisition of the Warembourg property. Seconded by Sisk. <br /> <br />Davidson offered a friendly amendment that Sharon Asti-Caranci, <br />Finance Director, Paul Wood, Planning Director, and Tom Phare, <br />Public Works Director attend the Executive Session. <br /> <br />Lathrop and Sisk accepted. Ail in favor. <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council adjourn to Executive Session for the <br />purpose of discussing concerns expressed by an attorney for <br />Centennial Apartments over various fees paid in relation to <br />construction of the apartments. The concerns were accompanied by <br />a threat of litigation. Seconded by Howard. All in favor. <br /> <br /> <br />
