NCWCD continues to work on obtaining the <br /> final 401 and 404 permits. NCWCD is planning on soliciting for a design <br /> consultant to start work in 2016. Current estimates have design taking <br /> two years and construction another three to four years. <br /> VII. Update — CIP Projects (Cory Peterson) <br /> • Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades <br /> i. Status: Under construction (contractor: MHW) <br /> ii. Contract Cost: $31.2 million. <br /> iii. Estimated completion: July 2017 <br /> Mr. Peterson described the recent activity performed by MHW with <br /> the major concrete placements wrapping up this quarter. The <br /> process piping has started along with many of the other building <br /> foundations. In general, the pace of construction is proceeding <br /> satisfactorily. <br /> • Louisville/Lafayette Drainageway Improvements <br /> i. Status: Under construction (Concrete Express- Phase 1, <br /> Redpoint-Phase 2). <br /> ii. Engineer's estimate: $9 million total cost before UDFCD & City of <br /> Lafayette contributions <br /> iii. Estimated completion: August 2016-Phase 2, September 2016- <br /> Phase 1 <br /> Mr. Kowar and Mr. Peterson provide and update on the both <br /> phases of the project. Specific information on the impacts of <br /> construction to Highway 42 was discussed. <br /> • Louisville/Superior Interconnect <br /> i. Status: Under construction (Redpoint) <br /> ii. Contract Cost: $537,000 <br /> Mr. Peterson stated that construction was nearing completion with <br /> the final tie-in to occur within the month. Redpoint will start final <br /> site cleanup and reseed as weather permits. <br /> • Eldorado Intake Reconstruction <br /> i. Status: Under construction (Glacier) <br /> ii. Contract cost: $1.5 million <br /> Mr. Peterson explained that project is going well and has handled <br /> the challenge with the weather and location. Staff continues to <br /> work through the FEMA process in hopes that it will be resolved <br /> soon. <br />
