Citv <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO - SINCE 18 7', <br />Building Code Board of Appeals <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 16, 2016 <br />City Hall, City Council Chambers <br />749 Main Street <br />6:35 PM <br />CALL TO ORDER — Chairperson Geise called the meeting to order at 6:35 PM. <br />ROLL CALL was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Matthew Berry, Vice Chair <br />Robert Van Pelt <br />Heidi Trieblhorn <br />Steve Knapp <br />Board Members Absent: Peter Geise, Chairman <br />Thomas Ramsey <br />Staff Members Present: Ken Swanson, Chief Building Official <br />Monica Garland, Senior Administrative Assistant <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Approval on minutes needed to be added. Van Pelt moved and Knapp seconded the <br />motion to approve the agenda. Motion passed by all members present. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Knapp moved and Van Pelt seconded the motion to approve the minutes. Motion <br />passed by all members present. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />None heard. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />2014 National Electric Code (NEC) Adoption <br />Ramsey submitted an email to staff to be distributed at the meeting with a request to <br />approve the adoption of the 2014 NEC with an amendment that sump pumps, ejector <br />pits and fridge/freezers in a basement not have to be GFI protected as stated in the <br />code. <br />Staff stated they would bring this to the electrical inspector to review and then bring <br />back the adoption back to the Board for review at the next meeting. <br />City of Louisville <br />Department of Planning and Building Safety <br />749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4584 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov <br />
