ILA i <br />Louisville <br />City Council <br />Legal Review Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 2, 2016 <br />City Hall <br />749 Main Street <br />3:00 PM <br />CaII to Order — Chairperson Leh called the meeting to order at 3:05 PM. <br />Roll CaII: The following members were present: <br />Committee Members: Chris Leh, City Council <br />Sue Loo, City Council <br />Jeff Lipton, Mayor Pro Tem <br />Staff Present: <br />Others: <br />Malcolm Fleming, City Manager <br />Sam Light, City Attorney <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />Bridget Bacon, Museum Coordinator <br />Ashley Stolzmann, City Council <br />Members of the Senior Advisory Board <br />Members of the Historical Commission <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as presented. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />None <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM OCTOBER 20, 2016 <br />The minutes were approved as presented, Lipton abstained from voting. <br />DISCUSSION — 501C3 ORGANIZATIONS AFFILIATED WITH THE CITY <br />Councilmember Leh reviewed the year long discussion the Legal Committee has <br />been having about this issue noting the five non-profit boards associated with the <br />City or with a City facility are extraordinarily valuable and appreciated.
