Louisville City Council Meeting <br />June 3, 2003 <br />Page 2 of 10 <br /> <br />Ao <br /> <br />B. <br />C. <br />D. <br /> <br /> Approval of Bills <br />Approval of Minutes (05/20/03) <br />Appointments to City of Louisville Housing Authority <br />Approval of Revised Subdivision Agreement -Arista Hospital <br /> <br />Councilmember Keany arrived to the meeting at 7:02 p.m. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />PRESENTATION - MONARCH HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS <br /> <br />Davidson asked Mayor Pro Tem Sisk to announce the scholarship awards. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Sisk stated the City of Louisville awards two $1,000.00 Scholarship to <br />two Monarch High School students annually. Fifteen scholarship applicants wrote a one- <br />page essay titled "My Civic Involvement or My Employment with the City of <br />Louisville." Mayor Pro-Tem Chuck Sisk and Councilors Michele Van Pelt and Don <br />Brown reviewed the applications, with the applicant's names stricken. The recipients of <br />the 2003 City of Louisville Monarch High School Scholarships are Anna Massie, who <br />will be attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Meredith MacKenzie, <br />who will be attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. <br /> <br />Massie and MacKenzie accepted the scholarships and thanked Council for the honor. <br /> <br />Keany noted Anna Massie chaired the City of Louisville Youth Advisory Board.
