CONSENT CALRNDAR <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES (5/5/92) <br />APPROVAL OF BILLS <br />APPROVAL OF RENEWAL OF LIQUOR LICENSE - SILCO OIL CO./dba BARN <br />STORE NO. 21 <br />APPROVAL OF WATER RIGHTS PURCHASE - MARSHALL LAKE <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mark Heckert, 596 Juniper Court, Louisville, CO, Parks and Open <br />Space Task Force. <br /> <br />Heckert: <br /> <br />Since the POSTF has completed the <br />initial Master Plan document, one of <br />the recommendations that was made by <br />the Council to the Task Force was to <br />go back out and have public meetings <br />and get public comment on the Plan <br />that the Task Force came up with. <br />We had two public meetings, May 27, <br />and June 1. Between the two <br />meetings we had approximately 60 <br />people attending. We presented an <br />overview of how the Task Force <br />conducted the different phases of <br />the compilation of the Master Plan. <br />We presented the recommendations to <br />the people to get their opinion and <br />their input. The input was very <br />positive on most aspects of the <br />Plan. One of the things that a <br />minority of the citizens said was <br />that we may not have gone far enough <br />or been aggressive enough in <br />establishing parks and open space in <br />the City. <br /> <br />Howard: <br /> <br />There is an effort underway to try <br />to identify funding sources for your <br />main project, the Central Park. <br />Have you gotten organized for that <br />yet? If so, how many people are on <br />that committee? <br /> <br />Heckert: <br /> <br />The Parks and Open Space Task Force <br />felt that most of our task was <br />completed, when we developed the <br />Master Plan. Something that has <br />come up since then is the funding. <br />On the Task Force we talked of <br />recommending to Council that you go <br /> <br /> <br />
