cost to the City.

O'Conner:

My guess is that with what's going
on around Boulder County now, it
will be well within five years that
you'll be putting sidewalks in the
Colorado Tech Center. It will be in
the reasonably near future.

Hornbostel:

What about the needs of streetlights
in terms of safety (i.e. burglaries,
vandalism, etc.) for the clients out
there? Is parking lot lighting
adequate enough to keep someone from
staking out and burglarizing one of
the businesses out there?

O'Conner:

I'm not sure the lighting is
adequate period. I think if they
are going to burglarize, then
they're going to burglarize. There
is hardly anybody out there at
night. Lighting up around the
building is far more critical.

Hornbostel:

Because it is out there and because
there aren't a lot of people out
there, it might be a good idea to
have streetlighting, so it would
discourage some of that.

Lathrop:

I know when I built my building, I
had to agree to install a sidewalk.
The verbiage basically says that
when it develops and when your
neighbor develops, the City will
require you to put in a sidewalk and
you agree to do so. Is that what
you all anticipate too?

O'Conner:

Yes, Sir.

Lathrop:

Concerning Lot 6, is there some
effort to remove the easement that
bisects Lot 6?

O'Conner:

Yes. We just didn't have time to
get everybody that we needed to get
approval on that.

Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 51, Series 1992,
the Colorado Technological Center First Filing, Replat of Lots 6 &

7
