Louisville City Council Meeting <br />April 20, 2OO4 <br />Page 15 of 15 <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />Deputy City Manager called for Staff Reports: <br /> <br />· Planning Director Paul Wood reported on the Highway 42 Revitalization Project. <br />· Public Works Director reported on the Highway 42/96th Street project. <br />· Deputy City Manager Boyd reported on the Louisville Police Department <br /> Municipal Court facility and the request for a water fee restructure for the Springs <br /> at Coal Creek Ranch subdivision. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Council member Marsella reported a new Executive Director has been appointed for the <br />Louisville Housing Authority. His name is Frank Alexander, and he has been with <br />Boulder County for several years. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported that many of the communities in the metropolitan area have water <br />restrictions, and Louisville does not. He favored conveying the message to the residents <br />to conserve water. He noted he would conduct a session of Chat with Chuck on <br />Wednesday, April 21, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. He stated there is concern of the West Nile <br />virus, and he reported the City is taking preemptive measures to combat any sort of <br />mosquito infestation. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> MOTION: Council member Keany moved for adjoumment (11:15 p.m.), seconded by <br />~vihn.
