6/'18/84 Page -4-
Chuck Ochsner, 8600 Ralston Rd. MY•. Ochsner stated that it would be diffi-
Arvada, Representing. Unique cunt to top Ms. Skeels presentation. He
Homes also commented with all the picture taking
going on all the handsome people at the
Council table some 50 years from now would
bey up on that slide. He felt that the slide
presentation was excellent and he would hope
tY~eir proposal would make the community more
attractive to people, and he would hope that
tY~ey could be a part of that by taking a
parcel of land where the vast majority
ofd it will be maintained to ensure the
quality of life that the proud citizens
of~ Louisville are enjoying now. Since
cc>uncilmembers had a copy of the proposal
along with the annexation request, Mr.
Oc:hsner opened the dicussion for questions.
Wastewater Services Question- At: the request of Mayor Meier, Administrator
able Wuirl stated that Council had looked at simi-
lair requests in the past and he wished to
suunmarize some of the problems associated
with the property in tertusof annexation. Staff
hard discussed these with the representatives
a number of times. Primarily there are
sE~vere limitations on our ability to serve
the area with wastewater and he was not cer-
tain how they proposed to accomodate that.
Mx-. Wurl stated that when the Continental
View and Paragon Heights area developed,
tYie owners of the property were approached
to see if there was any interest on their
part in contributing to the cost of lowering
tYie sewer line in Continental View so that
tYieir land could be accommodated and they
cYiose not to do that. So in our view, it
would be limited in the sense that they
wouldn't be able to have basements or they
would have to have a pumping facility of
some sort.
Expansion of the Louisville Mr_. Wurl also stated one of the major prob-
Reservoir lE~ms would be how it would impact our ability
to expand the Louisville Reservoir in the
future as we have planned to do in 1988-1989.
Access Administrator Wurl advised that it would have
limited access. There is technically only
one street that would tie into the property
and what would have to be done if Council
was inclined to consider the annexation,
would be to either vacate or permit a
street to be expanded if you would have 2
