Director of Public Safety Commented that he would like to add, so Leesman that we don't have the long term parkers, that maybe he and the City Attorney look into it, i.e. long term parkers in those lots over a certain number of hours, that are restricted to 2 hour parking. Some- thing more than the Model Traffic Code or present City ordinances. Theoretically it maybe that someone parked there for a week before it is determined that it is an abandoned vehicle. This may require a different ordinace. Mayor Meier .requested the City Attorney to research this possibility with Director Leesman. Vote on the Motion All. in favor. Motion carried unanimously. .QGUST HIOCO'S MEMO Councilmembers had a copy of Director Hioco's HERITAGE PARK WATER TAP memo and preliminary construction schedule for. Heritage Park. The request was for a 2" water tap - irrigation will begin mid- September and will be finished mid-November. Mr. Hioco stated that he had not planned to have the water metered as it would be an added cost to the park construction. Presently on all the parks, the acreage is being measured and how many sprinkler heads there are. Also what type pressure the heads have. He esti- mated that Heritage Park would use approxi- mately 100,000 gallons. This was cut in half because of the type grass being planted. Watering would be done every third day. A water meter has been installed in Memory Square Park to check the flow of water for the swimming pool. APPROVAL Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman Johnson seconded that the Heritage Park water tap be approved. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
