RESOLUTION NO. 56 <br />SERIES 2015 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION <br />REVIEW COMMITTEE TO PROVIDE A RECOMMENDATION REGARDING WHICH <br />APPLICANTS TO INTERVIEW <br />WHEREAS, the City receives a Targe number of very qualified applicants for <br />board and commission vacancies; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wants to review each application thoroughly; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Charter Section 10-2(f), the City Council desires to <br />establish a Board and Commission Application Review Committee to provide an <br />advisory recommendation on which board and commission applicants will be <br />interviewed by the full City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />1 There is hereby created a Board and Commission Application Review <br />Committee. <br />2. The role of the Committee shall be to review all of the 2018 board and <br />commission applications and propose to the full City Council those applicants to <br />interview for 2018 vacancies. <br />3. The Committee will consist of Councilmember Jay Keany & Councilmember <br />Ashley Stolzmann <br />4. The Committee meeting to discuss the applicants to interview will be open to the <br />public and other members of the City Council. <br />5. The Committee will conclude its work and present its recommendation to the City <br />Council at the November 28 Special City Council meeting <br />6.
