CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />JULY 26,2003 <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in special session at City Hall, 749 Main <br />Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Tom Davidson called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m., <br />and the following persons were present - <br /> <br />City Council: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Davidson, Mayor Pro-Tern Charles Sisk <br />Council members: John Keany, Michele l/an Pelt, Sheri <br />Marsella and Don Brown <br /> <br />Absent Arnold Levihn <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Manager <br />Julie Boyd, Deputy City Manager <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Sam Light, City Attorney <br />Nancy Varra, City Clerk <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />All rose for the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson called for changes to the agenda, and hearing none, moved the agenda be <br />approved, seconded by Sisk. All in favor. Levihn absent. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1423, SERIES 2003 - AN ORDINANCE SUBMITTING TO <br />THE REGISTERED ELECTORS OF THE CITY AT THE NOVEMBER 4, 2003 <br />REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION A BALLOT ISSUE CONCERNING <br />INCREASES IN CITY DEBT AND PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />CONSTRUCTING A NEW CITY OF LOUISVILLE LIBRARY, AND <br />AUTHORIZING OTHER ACTIONS REGARDING THE CONDUCT OF SUCH <br />ELECTION - 2nd reading - public hearing (advertised Daily Camera 7/16/03) <br /> <br /> <br />
