e et <br /> 4. Whatever joint use of common parking areas is proposed pursuant to <br /> Sec. 17.20.85 (Shared Parking) <br /> Section 4. A new Section titled Sec. 17.20.085 is hereby added to the <br /> Louisville Municipal Code entitled "Shared Parking". This new section of the code will <br /> read as follows; <br /> Sec. 17.20.085. Shared Parking <br /> A. Reduction for Shared Parking. <br /> The amount of off-street parking required may be reduced by an amount <br /> determined by the Planning Director when it can be shown through a <br /> parking demand study that sufficient parking is or can be met by the <br /> subject uses through shared parking. The parking demand study shall <br /> provide information and evidence about the anticipated parking demand at <br /> peak times during a day and the distance relationship between available <br /> shared parking spaces and the specific uses served. The Planning <br /> Director shall have the discretion to waive the requirement to complete a <br /> parking study where the amount of parking spaces to be shared does not <br /> exceed one. A shared parking agreement shall be executed and recorded <br /> as a deed restriction prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy or <br /> prior to the issuance of a certificate of completion by the Building Safety <br /> Division. The shared parking agreement shall also be noted as a <br /> permanent requirement on the Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br /> documents. <br /> B. Maximum Total Reductions. <br /> Total cumulative reductions to the minimum off-street parking <br /> requirements through application of this subsection shall not exceed <br /> twenty-five (25) percent. <br /> Section_5. Chapter 5 of the Downtown Louisville Framework Plan is hereby <br /> amended to include an update to the 1999 parking study which includes the findings of <br /> the 2009 parking study. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of <br /> the City of Louisville, Colorado does hereby approve a resolution recommending <br /> amendments to Chapter 17.20 (Off Street Parking and Loading) and Chapter <br /> 17.12 (District Regulations) of the Louisville Municipal Code as well as chapter 5 <br /> of the Downtown Louisville Framework Plan. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of March 2010. <br /> BY ff L' on, yh, 1 <br /> air <br /> Planning Commission <br /> 3 <br />
