Louisville Local Licensing Authority
Meeting Date: October 28, 2002

AUTHORITY BUSINESS

No business.

POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT

A. Incident Report - Old Louisville Inn/Druids Arms (10/20/02)

This item was tabled until the November 25, 2002 meeting to give the reporting
officer time to do a follow up report.

SECRETARY'S REPORT

A. Liquor Lore

B. Liquor Training

Deputy Clerk Schmidt reported on the attendance of the recent liquor training
held in Louisville. Attendance is down resulting from the City of Lafayette
repealing an ordinance that stated any establishment that held a liquor license
must attend liquor training once a year. Deputy Clerk Schmidt wanted to know if
the Authority was in favor of reducing the amount of trainings held. The Authority
thought training should still be held every quarter, but that the number of trainings
could be reduced from twice a quarter to once a quarter.

AUTHORITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT

A. Sanabria Enterprises, Inc., d/b/a Abo's Pizza

Attorney Light summarized the history of the corporate structure of Abo's Pizza
stating that his office had reviewed records to determine whether any corporate
changes have taken place.

Attorney Light explained that there were discrepancies in corporate documents
that suggested Herbert Sanabria, Jr. may still be involved in the financial
management of Abo's Pizza. He suggested handling the matter in one of two
ways: The Authority may issue an order to show cause and appoint independent
counsel to investigate the matter further, or the Authority could provide a letter to
Sanabria Enterprises, Inc., d/b/a Abo's Pizza requesting current financial and
corporate documents for review. Attorney Light also noted that the license is
subject to renewal in February 2003 and that corporate structure and financial
interests could be further reviewed at that time.

G:\LIQUOR~2002\MINUTES\MINUTES OCT 02.DOC
