The exact address of the original location of the house could not be determined with certainty.
The third Assessor's card for 737 Johnson stated that the house was moved from "ID 31072" in
two pieces on 9/1/90. "ID #31072" is based on a property numbering system no longer used by
the County Assessor.
According to Patricia Roberts, the real estate appraiser for the Boulder County Assessor's Office
who appraised 737 Johnson in late 2014, there is a notation in the files at the Assessor's Office
stating that the house was moved from 2395 S. 88th. This is no longer a recognized address. In
1991, this address was associated with John M. Hartnagle. Ms. Roberts also stated that the
evidence available to her in the files strongly suggests that the house was originally constructed
in 1964.
The third Assessor's card for 737 Johnson has the owner in 1978 as Linda Scriffiny, with the
address of 2377 S. 88th. However, it is possible that this was an address of property associated
with Linda Scriffiny, not the address of where the house was located. (This card also gave
"1965" as the "Date Built." However, the official date of construction given by Boulder County
is 1964, not 1965, despite this information having appeared on a Boulder County Assessor
card.)
Later Owners
In 1993, Lynne Stoecker purchased 737 Johnson from David and Lisa Anderson. In 2014, Rick
Feger purchased the property from Lynne Stoecker.
The preceding research is based on a review of relevant and available online County property records, census
records, oral history interviews, Louisville directories, and Louisville Historical Museum maps, files, and obituary
records.
4
