Level of Significance:
National:
State:
Local: xx
42. Statement of Significance
Although this building's historical significance is probably not to the extent that would qualify it for individual
listing in the National Register of Historic Places, the building does have sufficient significance and integrity to
qualify as a contributing property within a potential National Register historic district. The house is historically
significant for is association with residential development in Louisville during the first half of the twentieth century.
The house is architecturally significant as a representative example of a wood frame front gabled dwelling.
Particularly notable is the stone garage, which ranks as one of Louisville's most historically and architecturally
significant secondary buildings.
43. Assessment of historic physical integrity related to significance:
This house's historical integrity has been compromised by two non -original 1xl horizontal sliding glass bypass
doors, which open onto a large redwood deck, on the east elevation. The property unfortunately does not appear
as if it is being well -maintained by its absentee landlord.
