RESOLUTION NO 21 <br />SERIES 2019 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH <br />THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO BOULDER FOR THE PROVISION OF LAW <br />ENFORCEMENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL <br />WHEREAS, there has been proposed an intergovernmental agreement for the provision of <br />law enforcement personnel at private events, and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed intergovernmental agreement sets forth procedures by which <br />either party may call upon the other to provide law enforcement personnel to staff such private <br />events; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council by this Resolution desires to approve the IGA. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO- <br />Section 1 That certain Intergovernmental Agreement between the University of <br />Colorado Boulder and the City of Louisville for the Provision of Law Enforcement and <br />Administrative Personnel (the "IGA"), a copy of which IGA accompanies this Resolution, is hereby <br />approved. <br />Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute the IGA, and the Mayor is hereby further <br />granted the authority to negotiate and approve such revisions to said IGA as he determines are <br />necessary or desirable for the protection of the City, so long as the essential terms and conditions of <br />the IGA are not altered. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of July, 201 <br />ATTEST <br />sty I <br />Robert P Muckle, "a or <br />Resolution No. 21, Series 2019 <br />Page 1of1 <br />
