Ehlert stated that they would be willing to take that sign off', if asked to. <br /> <br />Lathrop moved that Council approve Resolution No. 44, Series 1997, amending condition No. 1 to <br />say that the height of the letters be limited to 5', that the area be limited to 82 s.f., and that they be <br />able to retain their monument sign on Centennial, seconded by Levihn. <br /> <br />Davidson offered a friendly amendment that the sign not be illuminated. <br /> <br />Lathrop and seconder Levihn accepted that. <br /> <br />Keany offered a friendly amendment that the signage on the retaining wall be removed also. <br /> <br />Lathrop and seconder Levihn accepted that. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with <br />Mayer being absent. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 43, SERIES 1997 - SPECIAL REVIEW USE FOR A PROFESSIONAL <br />POTTERY STUDIO AT 820 MAIN STREET - MUDSLINGERS POTTERY <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the studio is proposed to be used as professional studio <br />space primarily during the day for several local potters. Classes would be offered primarily during <br />the evening hours. They proposed a small amount of retail space. The making of pottery would not <br />generate objectional noise or fumes. Safety issues related to the kilns had been addressed to the <br />satisfaction of the building department. Planning Commission approved their Resolution No. 46, <br />Series 1997 on September 24, 1997, without conditions. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br /> John Hansen, 504 West Spruce Street, Louisville, Colorado, stated that Mudslingers consists of seven <br /> local residents. He had taught for eight years through the Lifelong Learning program at Centaurus. <br /> They already had a waiting list for classes waiting to begin after this approval tonight. <br /> <br /> Davidson called for Council questions, comments, or motions. <br /> <br /> Keany moved that Council approve Resolution No. 43, Series 1997, a Special Review Use for <br /> Mudslingers Pottery, seconded by Howard. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with <br /> Mayer being absent. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 45, SERIES 1997 - FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR LOT 13, <br />BLOCK 3 CTC - BUCKEYE INVESTMENTS <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that Buckeye Investments proposed to construct an <br />approximate 20,000 s.f. building in CTC Filing One, on the west side of South Taylor, south of <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
