H. Bashor had to have money to go m on <br /> with the, project and we had a report from C. L. Chatfield <br /> engineer for W. H. Bashor and one from J. E. Whitten State engineer <br /> stating that one-third of the work is complete. <br /> A report from C. L. Chatfield engineer for Dr. W. H. Bashor on <br /> construction of dam and ditch project on Mammoth Creek and in the <br /> vicinity of Rogers Pass, and same from J. E. Whitten Dep. State <br /> engineer stating that the work is one-third complete. <br /> Nov. 15, 1932 Mr. W. H. Bashor and C. L Chatfield were present and <br /> the board asked several questions concerning the dam at Mommoth Creek <br /> and the ditch at Rogers Pass. Mr. W. H. Bashor stated that the ditch <br /> would be compldted Thursday or Friday the 17th or loth of November <br /> and invited a Committee from the hoard to go up with Mr. Chatfield <br /> and W. H. Bashor to inspect the dam. <br /> Jan. 9, 1933 Mr C. E. Chatfield engineer for W. H. Bashor and J. E. <br /> Whitten Deputy state engineer persecute retorts fo completion. <br /> Mr, Vv. Jenkins, W, H. Bashor journed up tothe dam and inspected it and made a <br /> report that the cleaning or the rubbish on the Lade site was not <br /> completed. Toy also stated that the venture flume below the lake <br /> might possible be froZen and if so it should be repaired as soon as <br /> weather permits. <br /> After an hour or so of discussion a motion was made by H. Jenkins <br /> seconded by 4°errari that there be paid to Dr. W. H. Bashor on the <br /> third estimate under his contract 05,000.00 less the 100b or 4500.00 <br /> under the terma of contract less the following amounts $1,000.00 <br /> Already advanced to him on said third estimate. 0300.00 advanced <br /> to pay for water for season 1932 under agreement with him. 0300.00 <br /> advanced to him at the beginning of the construction and $125.00 <br /> as a guarantee for the finishing of the following itema in 1933 prior <br /> to the release from under the bond. Finishing of out let channel. <br /> Any repairs or if necessary replacement of venture flume. Cleaning <br /> of log from Inside the resevoir basin, Completion of work on top <br /> of east end fof Main dam, Lowering to g,ade by four inches rock <br /> section of collection ditch. Leaving net paid to him at this time . <br /> 02,775.00 .It was moved by Ross seconded by Stebens that we have <br /> notice of completion published in Louisville Times at Louisville, <br /> The Weekly Register Call at Central City and Middle Qoefii Park Times <br /> Tt was moved by Jenkins seconded by Ross that the Clerk sell the <br /> remaining 10, water bonds. <br /> Sept. 5, 1933 L. Bannister conselor at law for the New <br /> Amsterdam Casualty Company notified the clerk that Frank A. Ledolph <br /> assigned all claims and demands of every nature whatsoever which he <br /> has against the Town of Louisville, and Y H. Bashor for work done <br /> in connection with his contract to build a dam and resevoir on <br /> Mamonth Creek and trans mountain diversion ditch and appurtenant work. <br /> located in Uilpin and Grand counties, Colorado. <br /> It was moved by Jenkins seconded by Ferrari that we acknowledge <br /> the letter from L.
