Local Licensing Authority
Minutes
June 23, 2008
Police Department Reports
A. Incident Report -Henry's Bar & Grill - 6/15/08
The Authority was encouraged the licensee reported the incident as required and
asked the secretary to write a letter to compliment the establishment.
Secretary's Report
Hanson reported on the June 15 seller/server training attended by twelve
licensees from Louisville establishments.
Authority members were reminded of the study session with Council on July 8.
Authority Attorney's Report
Attorney Light distributed a memo concerning the Art Gallery Permit Bilt recently
passed by the State. He indicated the Authority would need to make changes to
the Louisville Municipal Code to begin to approve this particular permit. The
Authority members indicated they would like the Authority Attorney to begin to
prepare an ordinance to make those changes.
Authority Comment
Carlson inquired if tastings could be allowed at the Farmer's Market. Attorney
Light remarked there would likely be two issues; consideration of the market's
licensing agreement with the City and then potentially a special events permit.
Adjournment -Carlson moved to adjourn at 7:18 p.m. Lipton seconded. All
members were in favor. Meeting adjourned.
Carol Hanson, Deputy City Clerk
~r---__ _ _.__~ d--1--~-~,
John Rommelfanger, Chairperson
