POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> <br />A. Disturbance at Henry's Bar & Grill. <br /> <br />There was a lengthy discussion with regards to the February 1, 1999 disturbance at Henry's Bar & Grill. <br />This matter has previously been continued pending adjudication of the criminal matters filed in the <br />municipal court. <br /> <br />Only one of the four criminal cases pending in the municipal court has been adjudicated. One case is set <br />for trial on June 9, 1999, and two cases are still open and pending. <br /> <br />Sergeant Riggins stated that an alcohol-related driving violation has been filed against the owner of <br />Henry's Bar & Grill. <br /> <br />The Authority discussed proceeding with a Show Cause Hearing. It was the consensus that a Show <br />Cause Hearing should for the next meeting, June 28t~, 1999, with an order and notice sent to the <br />applicant. <br /> <br />Attorney Light was authorized to contact Bruce Joss or Steve Barnett to represent the Authority as <br />Special Prosecutor. <br /> <br />B. Disturbance at Druid Arms <br /> <br />There was discussion of whether this agenda item should be carded over to the next meetng pending <br />adjudication of the criminal matters filed in the municipal court. <br /> <br />SECRETARY'S REPORT <br /> <br />The Secretary stated the Louisville/Lafayette Joint Liquor Training sessions were held on Sunday, August <br />25, 1999 at 10:00 a.m., with 22 attendees and on Wednesday, April 28, 1999 at 5:00 p.m., with 30 <br />attendees. Mr. Leo Bellio, from the State Liquor Enforcement office, conducted those training sessions. <br />The classes were well attended and received by both communities. <br /> <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Attorney Light stated that he had enclosed a memo in the Authority packet, which concerned Liquor <br />Code requirement that licensees and corporate officers of corporate licensee be of good moral character. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
