Manager Balser noted that Council decided to <br />reinstate annual dinner meetings with City boards and committees as an alternative <br />opportunity to meet with committee members. The Committee discussed revisiting <br />the topic of regular BRaD Committee presentations to Council. <br /> <br />VIII. EV Report and BRaD Mission and Vision. None (EV Director Pierce having just <br />started). <br /> <br />IX. REPORTS FROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS: Committee President Oberholzer <br />noted that he spoke at a recent Council meeting regarding the policy of BRaD <br />regarding City tools for business, specifically that BRaD supports use of tools (TIF, <br />BAP, etc) for business expansion / vitality but BRaD does not express an opinion <br />on any specific request for City assistance. Mr. Oberholzer also noted that TILT <br />received City Council approval of its BAP request. <br /> <br />Committee Vice President Angel announced that this would be her final BRaD <br />meeting after serving 15 years. <br /> <br />Committee member Reichenberg announced that this would be his final meeting <br />as well after serving 10 years. <br /> <br />X. POTENTIAL DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING. <br /> <br />1. Next Meeting: After discussion, the Committee scheduled its next meeting for <br />Monday, February 3, 2020. <br />2. Discussion Topics: <br />i. New Committee member introductions <br />ii. Retention Visit update <br />iii. Business Forum – topic and date <br />iv. Discussion topics / Work Plan for 2020 <br />v. Louisville Local Licensing Authority – presentation <br />vi. How stay up to date on pending water tap / other fee increases <br />• Provide comprehensive listing / review of Louisville fees and <br />comparison to other communities <br /> <br />XI.
