Exhibit B — Scope of Services <br />Louisville Historical Museum <br />Expansion Project <br />Scope of Services <br />This draft scope of work reflects a plan of approach based upon the City's goals: <br />1. Prepare and deliver 30% design documents for a Museum Center building based on the <br />Museum Campus Master Plan, the Conceptual Design Plan and the City's Mission, <br />Vision and Values. <br />2. Provide preliminary Design plan and schedule. <br />3. Provide an estimated budget for the final project, including the Museum Center building <br />and any additional changes to the site and to the historic structures currently occupying <br />the site. <br />4. Prepare annual operations & maintenance cost estimates for the Museum when the <br />Museum Center building is opened. <br />5. Incorporate environmentally sustainable design principles, and features that can be easily <br />identified, quantified, priced, and documented in design and measured after construction. <br />6. Host regularly scheduled monthly meetings with City staff. Record and distribute <br />meeting minutes electronically. <br />7. Engage residents in a vibrant public participation and input process that builds on the <br />input provided through prior public engagement processes. <br />a. Host two (2) open houses/public meetings to collect data and obtain feedback <br />from the community; incorporate changes to concept plans as directed by the <br />City. <br />b. Provide progress updates for posting on the City's Website and/or an independent <br />project website for review of progress by stake holders and the public. <br />c. Include add alternative option for polling of Louisville residents to ascertain <br />community views on relevant aspects of the project. <br />d. Include pricing for additional public meetings on an as -needed, individual basis. <br />8. Prepare professional presentation materials to present to stakeholders as requested. <br />9. Present 30% design plan to City Council and other stakeholders as requested. <br />12 <br />
