DocuSign Envelope ID: 67A848F2-43D5-4DF5-8EF1-747972F4F304 <br />EXHIBIT A — SCOPE OF WORK <br />The Colorado Department of Transportation ("CDOT") will oversee The City of Louisville when the City <br />completes the 104th Street Trail project. (Hereinafter referred to as "this work") CDOT and the City of Louisville <br />believe it will be beneficial to perform this work because it will complete the segment of trail along 104th Street <br />that ties together the Coal Creek Trail with Rock Creek Trail and the Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek <br />Farm. This project will design and construct approximately 2.6 miles of a primarily soft surface, separated multi- <br />use trail generally between Empire Road to the north and the trail head parking lot within the Carolyn Holmberg <br />Preserve. At a minimum, the trail will be 8-feet wide and may include additional trail features such as lighting, <br />benches, bike racks, or similar. <br />This work will conform to the parameters articulated in the Colorado Department of Transportation Standard <br />Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, AASHTO "A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and <br />Streets", AASHTO "Roadside Design Guide", and the CDOT Project Development Manual, CDOT M&S <br />Standards, CDOT Design Guide, CDOT Construction Manual, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, <br />Highway Capacity Manual, City of Louisville Design and Construction Standards, along with all applicable State <br />and Federal guidelines. <br />The design phase of this work is scheduled to begin during fiscal year 2020. The design phase will identify more <br />exact requirements, qualities, and attributes for this work. (Herein after referred to as "the Exact Work"). The <br />Exact Work shall be used to complete the construction phase of the project. The construction phase of the project <br />is estimated to begin in fiscal year 2022 and shall finish as soon as reasonably possible. <br />The City of Louisville is responsible for design, utilities, ROW, environmental, advertisement, and construction <br />management. <br />The project is funded with Multi -Modal Options Funding (MMOF).
