1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04 <br />SERIES 2020 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMENDING APPROVAL OF AN ALTERATION CERTIFICATE <br />FOR THE HAMILTON HOUSE LOCATED AT 925 JEFFERSON AVENUE FOR <br />EXTERIOR ALTERATIONS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting an alteration certificate for a historic residential <br />structure located on 925 Jefferson Avenue, on property legally described as Lots 6-7 of Block <br />11, Jefferson Place, Town of Louisville, City of Louisville, State of Colorado; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff and the HPC have reviewed the application and found that <br />it fails to comply with Chapter 15.36 of the Louisville Municipal Code, including Section <br />15.36.120, establishing criteria for alteration certificates; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the HPC has held a properly noticed public hearing on the proposed <br />alteration certificate on February 24, 2020, where evidence and testimony were entered into the <br />record, including findings in the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission Staff Report dated <br />February 24, 2020. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Does hereby recommend denial of the application for an alteration certificate for the <br />Hamilton House as described in the staff report dated February 24, 2020: <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this ______ day of _____________, 2020. <br /> <br /> <br />______________________________ <br />Lynda Haley, Chairperson <br /> <br />
